Campus Access Information
This information is provided to help students, faculty, staff and visitors
with disabilities locate appropriate services at Ohlone College,
find appropriate entrances within buildings, and arrange for accessible services.
It may be helpful primarily to persons with mobility impairments, but may also
be useful to persons with other types of disabilities.
Disabled Parking
 Disabled persons displaying either a State of California license plate or dashboard placard issued
for disabled parking purposes, or a permit obtained from Ohlone College's Disabled
Students Programs and Services (DSPS) may park in spaces reserved for the disabled. These spaces are marked
with the standard blue painted Disabled Insignia.
On the Fremont campus, disabled parking spaces are available in lots A, B, C, H, K, N, O, P, Q, R, T, and U. On the Newark Center campus, they are in Lots A, B, C, and D. Fremont Campus Map and Newark Center Campus Map with the locations of disabled parking spaces indicated with a star  on the map.
Permits are available in the
DSPS Office (during regular business hours, call (510) 659-6140), located in Building 5, First
Floor.
Shuttle Van Service - Smith Center Events
 Instead of walking up the steps to events at the Gary Soren Smith Center for the Fine and Performing Arts (which includes Jackson Theatre, NUMMI Theatre, Louie-Meager Art Gallery, a dance studio, as well as radio and television studios), hitch a ride on the Smith Center Shuttle Van. This free shuttle circulates before most performances through Ohlone College parking lots picking up passengers and will deliver you to the Smith Center.

least 24 hours in advance to request these services.
