Ohlone College cordially invites all (Fremont, Newark, Union City) High School Juniors and Seniors to attend the 4th Annual Ohlone College Raza Recruitment Day at the new Ohlone College Newark Center for Health Sciences and Technology campus!

This event is an excellent opportunity to visit our new Newark campus, and see what academic opportunities are available. The purpose of this event is to encourage high school Juniors and Seniors to attend Ohlone College and help ease their transition from high school to college.  We will also introduce them to the strong support network that exists for Latino students on both of our campuses.

Raza Day is scheduled to take place at the Ohlone College Newark Center for Health Sciences and Technology, 39399 Cherry Street, Newark, CA 94560.

Raza Day events, activities, breakfast and lunch are free to all attendees!

Transportation will be provided to select campuses. Please contact the number provided below for further information on transportation and/or to obtain a parking pass.  

A signed parental/guardian Permission Slip and Photo Release Form are required for all high school Juniors and Seniors who plan to attend this event.

Students without a signed Permission Slip or signed Photo Release will not be allowed to participate and will be escorted off the campus. Raza Day Permission Slips and Photo Release Forms are available for download.

We hope that you attend this year’s Ohlone College Raza Day and ultimately join us at Ohlone College for the first two years of your undergraduate or vocational studies. We are confident that you will find the planned activities interesting, educational, and informative.  The topics that will be explored include, but are not limited to:

• The amazing NCHST “Green” building features
• Academic/Career exploration
• Campus resources
• The importance of college in the Latino community
• Testimonials from current and past Ohlone College students
