Communication for Change Club

Purpose of the Communication for Change Club

Speech Club representatives at Welcome Day 2004 information table.The Communication for Change Club is for Ohlone College students interested in majoring in communication or pursuing a career in the communication field. Students can also plan and organize special events on campus to begin building their resumes for careers in marketing communication, mass communication, public relations, and event planning.

Communication for Change Club Events

The club's largest projects each semester are arranging guest speakers to speak at Ohlone College. Every Fall semester, the club plans and organizes a careers in communication panel discussion to be held on campus.

Each year the Communication for Change Club also assists with Speech Night. This is an evening program that showcases Communication Studies students' talents and efforts as they have progressed through the year in the classroom and in forensic competition.

Sigma Chi Eta Membership
