Degree and Certificate in American Sign Language and Deaf Studies
The American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf Studies curriculum is designed to prepare students for paraprofessional positions in areas of deaf education (instructional aides, cottage/dormitory counselors, etc.), research, human services, or community services. The ASL & Deaf Studies program will also help students with other majors and with their personal and/or professional contacts with Deaf people.
Associate in Arts (A.A.) Degree
American Sign Language and Deaf Studies A.A. Degree (PDF) - Designed to prepare students for paraprofessional positions in areas of deaf education (instructional aides, cottage/dormitory counselors, etc.), research, human services, or community services. This program will also help students with other majors and with their personal and/or professional contacts with Deaf people.
