Special IPP Classes and Workshops

Other than our two-year full time program, we offer courses to two different audiences. Interpreter workshops (INT-191 classes) are offered in the evenings and some weekends, focus on skills development. These courses are offered for students who wish to prepare for the IPP courses and are often referred to as 'Bridge" courses.

Other courses in this category are for working interpreters who wish to improve their skills. Classes with the INT-199 designation may be taken by working interpreters and Deaf interpreters with instructor approval. Acceptance in the IPP is not required to take these classes. Some are semester long courses; others are 9-18 hour courses which meet over a weekend or two. These courses are offered for college credit and students may also earn CEUs.
