English 162 - English Learning Center

The English 162 Lab consists of two parts:

1. Passport to College (work to be completed online only):

   • Purchase Passport to College from the Ohlone Bookstore
   • Log-in to http://www.passporttocollegereading.com
   • Click on “First Time Registration.”
   • Enter access code (the number inside your passport purchase) in the “Registration Code” section.
   • Select “Join a Class,” then enter the class code in the space provided. The class code is the number your instructor gave you in class.
   • You can view assigned activities by clicking on the “itinerary” tab. Complete activities by the due dates provided.

2. Lab Activities (work to be completed in the lab only):

   Before you start your lab work, read the student guidelines for the English 162 lab provided by your instructor.

   If your class is at the Fremont campus 162 lab activities must be completed in the English Learning Center, in room HH217. If your class is at the Newark campus, lab activities must be completed at the Newark English Learning Center room NC-1118, Learning Resources Center.
