French Lavender (Lavandula pedunculata)

  • Perennial with fuzzy gray leaves and spikes of purple or, more rarely, pinkish or white flowers on tall leafless stems
  • Native to the Mediterranean region and introduced to Australia
  • Drought-tolerant. Used commercially and medicinally, particularly as an insect repellent.
