Yellow African Bulbine (Bulbine frutescens)

  • Succulent with long cylindrical leaves that grow in clumps, and spikes of yellow flowers. Distinguished from genus Bulbinella by its fuzzy stamens.
  • Native to South Africa, Lesotho, and Swaziland
  • Drought-tolerant (does not tolerate over-watering) and can survive light frost
