Music Department Sign
Musicians are creative, but this can extend into physical endeavors as well. Confronted with what to do with old (recently replaced) electronic piano keypads one could simply think "trash," but Tim Roberts saw a potential for something more creative. Spending a portion of the summer on his project, Tim came up with some creative signage for the Music Department. You can see it displayed in front of Building 2 on the Fremont campus.
Tim Roberts Releases CD
In addition to our Music sign, Tim Roberts has been busy creating music of another type. His new CD of acoustic guitar music, Fox Hunt, was released on July 15, 2012, and can be found on both iTunes and at Amazon.com. Visit Tim's Facebook page for a sampling.
According to one review on Amazon.com:
"From slick new age, to dirt road folk, and anything in between, this is an eclectic assortment of fresh instrumental string music in various genres. The arrangements are clean, consisting mostly of acoustic guitar, dobro, and bass… Recommended!"
Rockin' the Hill / Ohlone Summerfest
Five Ohlone (current and former) students and their bands performed at "Rockin' The Hill" during summer as part of Ohlone's Summerfest 2012 program. The bands were led by Bret von Lindenberg, Erica Benton, Monica Ramos, Katie O'Brien, and Lisa Marie Johnston.
