Sally Mote-Yaffe, Adjunct Faculty in the Music Department

Sally Mote-Yaffe has taught Class Voice since Fall 2011. Sally received her B.A. in Vocal Performance from California State University Hayward and her M.A. in Vocal Performance from San Jose State University. She has been performed and taught in Northern California for over 25 years.

Ms. Mote-Yaffe's performance experience includes leading roles in opera, musical theater, solo recitals and non-musical theater. In addition to teaching, she has been a stage director in children's theater and has been the stage director, for over a decade, for Valley Concert Chorale's "Music in the Schools" performances.

Sally is a classically trained singer but realizes the importance of healthy vocal production in all types of singing. For this reason she has invested in ongoing training in teaching methods that encompass Contemporary Commercial Music in addition to her continuing education in classical music.

Sally Mote-Yaffe maintains a lively private studio in Livermore in addition to an adjunct faculty position at Las Positas College.
