Singing is a great place to start!!

The courses we offer for Spring 2017 are:

  • Beginning Voice (MUS-162A/B)
    • T/Th 2:45pm-4:20pm OR Monday Night from 6:00pm-9:10pm
    • Learn the basics: breathing, style differences, posture, stage presence, getting comfortable! -1 Unit
  • Intermediate  (MUS-162C-F)
    • T/Th 2:45pm-4:20pm OR Monday Night from 6:00pm-9:10pm
    • Class and Individual Instruction in vocal production. Emphasis on solo and ensemble literature - 1 Unit
  • Applied Music (MUS-166-02)
    • T 4:30pm-5:30pm
    • Performance forum for students who are currently taking individual vocal instruction at Ohlone-inquire!- 1 Unit
  • College Chorus (MUS-355)
    • T/Th 1:00pm-2:35pm
    • This course is for the study, rehearsal, and public performance of vocal literature, with an emphasis on developmental skills. Different literature will be studied each semester - 1 Unit
  • Jazz/Rock Ensemble (MUS-352-01)
    • F 1:45pm-3:50pm
    • Live-performance workshop including sight-reading, rehearsal, performance and recording of various styles of popular music - 1 Unit
