Registered Nursing Program Accreditation
The Registered Nursing Program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), 3343 Peachtree Road NE, Suite 850, Atlanta, GA 30326, (404) 975-5000, Fax (404) 975-5020, www.nlnac.org; and the California Board of Registered Nursing, 400 R Street, Suite 4030, Sacramento, CA 95814, (916) 322-3350, www.rn.ca.gov.
The NLNAC is a professional organization. Accreditation is optional. Achieving accreditation indicates that the program meets the highest professional standards. The Board of Registered Nurses is a consumer board. Program accreditation is required for graduates to be eligible to sit for the licensing exam.
