Steps to Apply to the Registered Nursing Program
IMPORTANT MESSAGE! All students, new or reapplying, must attend a nursing orientation to learn about changes to Spring 2006 admission criteria.

Attend a MANDATORY Pre-nursing Orientation Meeting.
- See Nursing News bulletin board near Admissions Office or select the Orientation Schedule link for dates and locations. Advance sign up is not required. Arrive on time to register. Late arrivals will not be admitted. A photo ID is required.

Take Placement Test.
Please make sure to frequently check the Placement Testing Center website for changes to the Placement Test beginning April 2006.

Visit the Placement Testing Center website or contact the Placement Testing Center at (510) 659-6126, Building 7, Room 7205, second floor, Fremont campus.

Attach OFFICIAL copies of ALL college transcripts to Nursing Application AND…
- Obtain catalog course descriptions for nursing support and general education courses for which you plan to request credit.

Make an APPOINTMENT with an Ohlone Counselor to…
- Determine eligibility for admission.
- Have Nursing Academic Evaluation form completed
- Note: These services are not available on a drop-in basis.

Complete requirements of admission.

Submit Nursing Program Application to Health Sciences and Environmental Studies Division Office in accordance with dates in the current application.
- Watch the Nursing News bulletin board for updates. (The board is located near the Admissions & Records Office.)
