Textbooks, Online Access Codes, Other Supplies and Resources
Most Ohlone College classes require the purchase of a textbook, and some classes require the purchase of online access codes (also known as keys) or other supplies. Most of these purchases are available at the Ohlone College Bookstore. The exact textbook and other specific costs are now available for each section on WebAdvisor (select "Book Info").
Students may go to the Ohlone College Bookstore website to find the textbook(s), access codes (keys), or supplies for their class(es). Students may be required to pay additional fees for access to online resources that are not available through the Ohlone College Bookstore. Additional supplies may be required and will be listed on the course syllabus on the first day of classes. Please check with your instructor.

Biography
Maria U. Ku, a.k.a. Maria Ugrioumova, was born in 1971 in Moscow, Russia. Her father is a mathematician and her mother was an aircraft engineer in the former Soviet Union. Maria received her early education in a French school with emphasis on Mathematics & Science. She graduated from school in 1988 with Medal of Excellence from the USSR Ministry of Education.
Maria studied in the School of Mathematics and Mechanics at the Moscow University until she left Russia for political reasons.
Maria came to the United States in January 1992. She was granted political asylum in the U.S.A. in 1993, and she became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1999.
Maria graduated, with High Honors, from Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley, in 1997.
She worked in accounting since 1993, including tax practices of the Big 4 public accounting firms. Maria started her own CPA tax practice in 2000. She has taught at Ohlone since August 2007.
Maria is married and has two daughters.
