Course Description

This course is 2 units overall, with 1.5 units of lecture and .5 units of lab. It is taught in a compressed semester of 12 weeks.

This course is intended to increase the student's knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the human nervous system including the central, peripheral, and autonomic nervous systems. Emphasis is placed on the clinical manifestations of disease or injury to the nervous system as it relates to the clinical picture of the physical therapy patient.
