Science, Technology, and Engineering Division

The Science, Technology, and Engineering Division is composed of over 40 full time faculty and staff. The division offers more than 20 different Fast-Track Certificates and 10 different programs through 13 academic departments. Our concern for student success is supported by functional tutorial/learning centers in biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics-engineering where peer tutors are available to assist students enrolled in our courses.

Our natural and computer science departments recognize and support the important and integral role of laboratory and/or field experiences in the curriculum. Our Biotechnology and Networking Technology Systems Administration Programs serve as model training programs in our region. A high percentage of our students successfully transfer into baccalaureate programs in anthropology, biology, chemistry, computer science, geology, engineering, mathematics and physics. The Science, Technology, and Engineering Division supports Ohlone College's mission by offering general education, transfer education and career/occupational education for the community.
