Registration is as simple as…

  1. Download the 2012 Festival Regulations (PDF) document. Read it thoroughly as there are major changes from past years.

  2. Download the Microsoft Excel Registration Form (XLS) and save it using your high school name. You will need to complete all 5 Worksheets of this document and email back to ohlonetheatrefestival@comcast.net This is your school registration.

  3. Have all High School Student Participants enroll online (www.ohlone.edu/go/applyonline). Make sure each student prints a copy of their registration confirmation. You will need that to complete your school registration. Note: If using the same computer to register students make sure you log out completely and re-login after each student otherwise it may override the last info you inputted and leave only the last person registered.

  4. Print one copy of the 2012 10th-12th Grade Permission Form (DOC). We recommend that you have your principal and counselor sign the original and put your school name on it. Now make copies for all the participants. It is very important that the form is completed with the student’s name at the top, the signatures in the middle which include parent/guardian and the student and the grade of the student at the bottom with those signatures from the principal and counselor.

  5. Print one copy of the 2012 Photo Release (DOC). Write in your school name before you duplicate for all participants. This has to be signed by the parent/guardian of each participant under the age of 18. if you are 18 then you can sign the document on the lower part of the page. It’s easy just read.

Students, to recap…

  1. Students register online and print registration confirmation to give to your teacher.
  2. Students complete the Permission form with all signatures and information and give to their teacher.
  3. Students complete the Photo Release with all signatures and information and give to their teacher.
  4. Students provided 2 copies of their scenes and their $20 registration fee to their teacher to include in the School Registration

Teachers…

  1. Make sure you read the Festival Regulations thoroughly for deadlines and rules. There have been changes, so make sure you know what they are.
  2. Complete the Excel Registration Form (all 5 pages. If a page does not apply to you, then put a N/A so we know you read it) and submit it online using our email address ohlonetheatrefestival@comcast.net.
  3. Make sure your registration is complete. Your completed registration includes all hard copy items of registration, i.e., the 2 copies of scenes, the 10-12 permission forms, photo release forms, online registration confirmations, your school information sheet (the first page of the Excel worksheets), and your registration payment is received by Ohlone College by the deadline.
