Speaker Bio: Mohammad H. Qayoumi, President, California State University, East Bay

Mohammad H. Qayoumi, current president of CSU East Bay, has over 30 years of experience in higher education and industry and has published multiple books and written several articles. He previously served at Cal State Northridge as VP for Administration and Finance and CFO. He worked for his native country of Afghanistan as the senior advisor to the Minister of Finance and as a member on the board of directors for the Central Bank of Afghanistan. Qayoumi is currently a member of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group and serves on several boards including the Bay Area Council, the East Bay Economic Development Alliance and the Contra Costa Business Council.
