We are working on our Accreditation Self Study as part of the process to reaffirm of our accreditation by the Accrediting Commission for Junior and Community College (AACJC) as administered by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Eleven teams made up of faculty and staff have completed drafts of their narrative reports. Also a number of Ohlone Stories have been completed, which show how our accomplishments integrate with our values and goals and with the accreditation standards and themes.
Please review those items of interest to you and provide feedback through the Accreditation Feedback Blog or directly to Team Co-Chairs.
We will continue to refine and improve the Self Study during the fall semester, and update the website as appropriate. The final report will be reviewed through shared governance in November 2007 for Board review and approval and submission to ACCJC/WASC in December 2007. The accreditation site visit to Ohlone College by a team of external evaluators will take place the first week of March 2008.
