Due to California budget cuts, the Vice President, Administrative Services, position will be vacant as of August 1, 2011. Its departments have been re-assigned to other areas at Ohlone College.

Reassigned to President - Bond
- Reassigned to President - Business Services - Accounting, budgeting, Payroll (reassigned to Information Technology), and cash management, including cash flow, Cashier, payables, invoicing and general ledger.

Purchasing, Contract Administration, and Auxiliary Services - Request for Proposals (RFP), Bid Projects, Purchasing, Warehousing, Stores, Mail Services, Shipping and Receiving, Duplicating Services, Record Retention, Travel and Conference, and Disposal of Surplus Property and Hazardous Waste Materials. Provides current bid opportunities.

College Bookstore - Service to students, faculty, and staff of Ohlone College for purchasing textbooks, supplies, snack items and various other services.

Central Services (mailroom and duplicating) - Sorts and delivers incoming mail to designated mail stop boxes. Provides duplicating services.

Facility Rental - Rental of Ohlone College facilities

Flea Market - Raises money for Ohlone College programs through space rental to vendors. Second Saturday of every month

Budget Committee - Provides a venue for added dialogue and an intersection for the planning processes and financial allocation

Reassigned to Student Services - Campus Police Services / Safety and Security - Enforcement of local, State and Federal occupational safety regulations. Law enforcement with police authority to deter crime and civil disruptions, enforce parking and driving safety regulations, administer the emergency preparedness program. -
Reassigned to President - Facilities (formerly Buildings & Grounds) - Building maintenance, custodial and ground upkeep - physical features of the campus: grounds beautification, refurbishing and remodels of the college facilities. Vehicles, equipment, recycling building service requests. Capital Projects and Bond Office.

Reassigned to Academic Affairs - Information Technology - Information Infrastructures and Services to support communication, data processing and sharing requirements. Telephone service, data network and application services; computer hardware and software ordering and support; desktop support, training, electronic mail, file sharing; and web hosting. Support of the Datatel Integrated Administrative System.
