Important: Policy for Repeating Courses has Changed

The California Community College Board of Governors recently passed revisions to Title 5 regarding course repetition that are effective starting Summer 2012.

Students will only be allowed to enroll in a course not designated as "repeatable" (ENGL-101A, for instance) three times if they received a substandard grade (D, F, NP, or NC) or withdrew from the class with a W.

These new regulations will be applied retroactively so enrollments prior to Summer 2012 will be counted towards the three times, and any student who has already taken a course the maximum number of times will no longer be able to take the same course at Ohlone College. Continuing Students: Registration Groups - Summer/Fall 2012

Registration appointments are required for all Continuing Student groups. Your email invitation specifying your day and time will be based on the following college registration priorities. For the Summer 2012 and Fall 2012 semesters, your invitation will arrive via email in April. Please review the schedule below.

  1. Continuing Students - Priority Registration: Registration runs Monday, April 23.
  2. Continuing Students - Regular Registration Groups: Registration begins Thursday, April 26.
    1. Declared major and Degree Applicable* units greater than or equal to 60 and less than 90
    2. Declared major and Degree Applicable* units greater than or equal to 30 and less than 60
    3. Declared major and Degree Applicable* units less than 30
    4. Declared major and Degree Applicable* units greater than or equal to 90
    5. Undeclared major and Degree Applicable* units less than 90
    6. Undeclared major and Degree Applicable* units greater than or equal to 90

If you are a Continuing Student, please ensure that your email address is current in WebAdvisor. You may check this by using the “Update My Profile” feature after you log into WebAdvisor (under Registration section).


* Degree Applicable units include only those that have been completed while at Ohlone College.

New / Former Student Registration - Summer/Fall 2012

All New and Former Students will begin general, online registration after Continuing Students on Monday, May 14, 2012 for the Summer 2012 term and the Fall 2012 semester. Appointments are not required and students register on a “first come, first served” basis.

Please familiarize yourself with the A&R website for process, procedures and questions you may have. Also review the Academic Calendar for relevant dates about adding / dropping classes, receiving refunds and withdrawals.
