Important: Policy for Repeating Courses has Changed
The California Community College Board of Governors passed revisions to Title 5 regarding course repetition effective Summer 2012.
Students will only be allowed to enroll in a course not designated as "repeatable" (ENGL-101A, for instance) three times if they received a substandard grade (D, F, NP, or NC) or withdrew from the class with a W.
These new regulations were applied retroactively so enrollments prior to Summer 2012 will be counted towards the three times, and any student who has already taken a course the maximum number of times will no longer be able to take the same course at Ohlone College. Please refer to Repeating Courses for more information.

The above add and drop deadlines pertain to full-term classes. Students need to refer to Footnote 1 below for classes that meet more or less than the full-term.
* Students cannot add full-term classes online via WebAdvisor after the last day to add without the instructor's signature. Students can only add full-term classes by submitting an Add/Drop Form (PDF) with the instructor's signature to Admissions and Records on the Fremont campus or the Student Services Center on the Newark campus. Return to text.
** Admissions and Records Office hours do not extend to cover weekends and/or holidays. Access during non-office times is available through WebAdvisor. Return to text.
[1] Use the following percentages to calculate deadlines for classes that meet less than the full term:
- Last date to drop with a refund: 8% of class meeting times
- Last date to add: 20% of class meeting times
- Last date to drop a class without a W (Census Date): 20% of class meeting times
- Last date to apply for pass/no pass: 30% of class meeting times

[3] The Application for Summer 2013 Degree or Certificate (Associate in Art degree, Associate in Science degree, or Certificate of Achievement) is available from and should be submitted to the Office of Admissions and Records or may be submitted via the students WebAdvisor account. Applications received after the deadline will be processed for the next term. Return to text.
Schedule for Registration
Continuing students are assigned the earliest registration times and appointments based on having a declared academic program (major) and by the number of Ohlone units earned toward that program. Registration appointments are emailed to students prior to the start of registration.
New and former students receive the next opportunity to register but do not receive specific appointments. New and former students cannot register for classes until they have completed the admission process.
10th-12th grade students will be able to register for classes approximately two weeks before to the start of the term.
Kindergarten-9th grade students receive the last opportunity to register, starting on the first day of the term.
