When Do Classes Start? - Admissions & Records

Spring 2010 Semester

• Instruction begins: Monday, February 1
• Last day of instruction: Friday, May 21
• Final exams: Saturday, May 22 - Friday, April 4

All full-term (16-week) Spring classes have a start date of Monday, February 1, even if the section does not meet on Mondays.

For example, ENGL-101B-01 has dates 2/1/10-5/28/10, although the class meets only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The first meeting for this class will be on Tuesday, February 2 not Monday, February 1 because this class does not meet on Mondays.

Summer 2010 Term

• Instruction begins: Monday, June 21
• Last day of instruction: Thursday, July 29
• Final exams: Last day of class
