Work for the 2016 Student Art Exhibition was selected by Guest Juror Gina Borg

Gina Borg is a painter who lives and works in Oakland, California. Her work has been shown in solo exhibits at Jancar Gallery in Los Angeles, Jancar Jones Gallery in San Francisco, and K. Imperial Fine Art in San Francisco. Group exhibitions she has participated in include, De-Mobbing; Landscape, Structure, Bioform at Headlands Center for the Arts, Afterglow, first shown at Notre Dame de Namur University then several other universities around the state, Welcome To My World, at NIAD Art Center in Richmond, and Thinking Like the Universe, K. Imperial Fine Art in San Francisco. Her work is included in numerous private collections as well as the collection of the Alameda County Arts Commission. Born in 1973 in Sacramento, California, Borg attended the MFA program in painting at Boston University and received her BA from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
