Art Statement

Crestone—home to roughly one thousand people—is situated at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in South Central Colorado at an elevation of 8,000 feet. I made three trips to photograph in and around Crestone in 2014 and 2015.

Artist Biography

Paul Mueller has a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and an MFA from Stanford University. He has been a full-time faculty member at Ohlone College since 2004.
