Ohlone Men's Basketball is the 2010 Coast Conference Champion! CCCAA State Championship is next!
March 8, 2010 - In the North Division Regional Final game on Saturday, March 6, Ohlone Men's Basketball won 75-65 over Yuba City and is CCCAA Coast Conference Champions! Ohlone Men's Basketball team now heads to the CCCAA State Championships on March 12-14 at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California (Gilbert Arena). Ohlone Women's Basketball lose 63-74 to CCSF
March 8, 2010 - The Ohlone's Women's Basketball team didn't fare as well as the Men's team in the Coast Conference Championship on Saturday, March 6. They remain the 2010 Coast Conference Northern California Champions but do not move on to this year's State Championship. Congratulations to our Women's Basketball team for an exciting season!
Basketball teams win Regional Semifinal games and move on to Regional Finals
March 1, 2010 - Congratulations to Ohlone's Women's and Men's Basketball teams! Each won their Regional Semifinal Playoff game and move on to the Regional Finals. The Regional Final games are played on Saturday, March 6. The Women's team (#8) plays at City College of San Francisco (#1) at 5:30pm; the Men's team (#1) plays Yuba (#8) at 7:00pm at Ohlone's Fremont campus.
Both the Women’s and Men’s Basketball teams have advanced to the playoffs

Men's Basketball ranked #1 in Northern California The Men will follow on Saturday, February 27 at 7:00pm, also at home. The Men are ranked #1 in Northern California with an overall record of 24-4. As of yesterday, they were also ranked #1 in the State as indicated in the final regular season poll. …

Ohlone Sports ready to go live
October 22, 2009, Ohlone College Monitor - It won’t be SportsCenter, let alone be even on, or close to any of the ESPN channels, however the Ohlone TV Network will launch something on Friday that very few junior colleges, if any, have. Ohlone Network Sports, produced by the Sports Broadcasting class (BRDC-213) will go live for the first time on channel 28 in Fremont on Friday at 3 p.m., highlighting and discussing just about everything related to the Ohlone Renegades. Ohlone College and Fremont Bank tee-off for golf tournament benefit
September 16, 2009, Tri-City Voice - Get your golf clubs ready to swing into action, as the picturesque setting of Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton is the venue for Fremont Bank and Ohlone College Golf Tournament. Now in its 25th year, this annual fundraising event, on September 21, benefits the college's Athletic Programs, Student Athletic Scholarship Fund and Athletic Endowment Fund. Lady Eagles Add California Guard for 2009-2010 Season
Press release, June 16, 2009 - Coach Walsh and his staff are excited to announce the addition of Cassie Bates from Fremont, CA. Bates is a 5'8" point guard from Ohlone College and will have three years of eligibility remaining. Cassie helped guide the Women's Basketball team to a perfect 12-0 conference record and an overall 19-12 record. The Renegades lost in the "Sweet 16" of the California Junior College state playoffs. Ohlone College Renegades to host the Northern California Super-Regional Baseball Championships
Press release, May 14, 2009 - The Ohlone College Renegades (37-9) will host this year’s Northern California Super-Regional Championships. The Renegades earned the #1 seed in the Northern California Playoffs by finishing the regular season 35-9 overall and 20-5 in conference. The Renegades won their first outright Coast Conference-Pacific Division Championship in 18 years, and were ranked #1 in Northern California for seven straight weeks during the season. The Renegades also received National recognition in 2009 – PERFECT GAME Baseball had Ohlone ranked as high as #4 in the country and currently ranks the Renegades #6. Ohlone College announces new Women's Basketball Head Coach for 2009-2010 Season
Press release, April 20, 2009 - Athletic Director Chris Warden announces new Women’s Head Basketball Coach for Ohlone College. Chris said today that three year assistant coach Julia Allender would be fulfilling the role of Head Coach for the 2009-2010 season. “There were a lot of qualified applicants, but Julia has the entire package that I was looking for to take this program to the next level” said Warden.
