Chabot and Ohlone softball and baseball teams won 10 and lost three for the week of February 23 to March 1.

Best game of the week was Ohlone baseball’s 1-0 victory over Nor Cal number one and state number-two ranked Sacramento City College. Sophomore right hander, Ian Hoff, threw a one-hit, complete-game shutout for Head Coach Jordon Twohig’s Renegades. In addition, Hoff struck-out eight over his nine innings of work.

Over the week, Ohlone also defeated Coast Pacific Conference (CPC) rivals Gavilan of Gilroy, 28-9, and Hartnell of Salinas, 11-8. Ohlone plays in the CPC Division. Next home games for the Renegades are Mission of Santa Clara, a Coast Golden Gate Conference (CGGC) team on Thursday, March 5, and CPC foe, Skyline of San Bruno, Tuesday, March 10. Both games start at 2 p.m.

Coaches Twohig and Spencer along with Ohlone softballs, Cheryl Kato, contributed to this article.
