Ohlone left-hander Roberto Padilla is quite possibly one of the more dominant pitchers in the Coast Conference Pacific. The San Jose State bound sophomore leads the CCP in ERA (2.22), wins, (8), is tied for second in complete games (2) and is second in innings pitched (56.2 IP). Since losing to Solano back on Feb. 27, Padilla has won his last five consecutive starts, sparking Ohlone on their current six-game win streak.

TCV: How long have you been playing baseball now?

1. I’ve been playing baseball since i was in diapers.

TCV: What got you into pitching?

6. I rest till i have 40 minutes before game time then I begin my warmup, stretching and then throwing.

TCV: What pitcher, would you say, you model yourself after?

7. I do not really model myself after anyone, I have my own style.

TCV: If you could pitch for any MLB team, who would it be and why?

8. I would pitch for any MLB team, But I’ve grown up an Oakland A's fan so i would have to go with them.
