Ohlone holds off Canada, 66-60
February 8, 2010 - Canada College entered the game at Ohlone with just 1 league win and 9 overall, but certainly did not play like it Saturday night. The Colts made 12 3 point shots (12-31), were perfect from the line at 12-12, and held a 3 point lead with 5 to go, but ultimately the Renegades were too much inside as Reggie Jones scored 29 and had 7 rebounds and Lavon Gray had 7 points and 15 rebounds. Scott Clark (10 points, 2-3 from 3 pt line) and Quaran Johnson each had 6 assists. Ohlone (7-1, 18-4 overall) faces Skyline at Skyline this Wednesday, February 10 at 7:30pm and then are home Saturday, February 13 vs. San Francisco at 3:00pm.

February 2, 2010 - The game between Ohlone College and Canada College, to be played at Ohlone College on Saturday, February 6th has been changed to a 5:00pm tip off. The game was originally scheduled to start at 3:00pm. Tickets are $5 for general admission, kids 12 and under are free.
Ohlone College Knocks off Foothill to Regain Sole Possession of First Place
January 30, 2010 - Ohlone bounced back from its home loss to Chabot in a big way, knocking off Foothill College in Los Altos Hills to open the second half of league play. The Renegades and the Owls were tied atop the league standings at 5-1 going in to the contest. Paced by 6’9 sophomore Reggie Jones 33 points (14-20 from the field), Lavon Gray’s double double (10 points, 11 rebounds), and Demitris Love’s 6 assists, the Renegades pulled away late to win 72-65. Down 4 with just over 8 minutes left, Jones outscored Foothill 12-0 by himself, helping Ohlone build a 12 point lead that they would not relinquish. Ohlone (6-1) holds a 1 game advantage over Chabot, Foothill and SF City (5-2).

#1 Ohlone loses at home to rival #19 Chabot
January 28, 2010 - Chabot’s 40 minutes of zone held Ohlone to its lowest point total of the season in a 64-53 win over the Renegades at Epler Gymnasium. Mark Stevenson led the Gladiators with 26 points, including two clutch 3’s in the last 2 minutes that sealed the fate of Ohlone. Quaran Jonson had 17 points and Reggie Jones had 11 for Ohlone. Ohlone shot just 39% from the field and 23% from the 3 point line (6-25).

January 27, 2010, Tri-City Voice - The upwardly mobile Ohlone men's basketball team ascended to number 1 ranking in Northern California in the coaches poll with a thrilling 67-66 overtime win over City College of San Francisco on Wednesday (January 20), followed by a 76-46 rout of Las Positas on Saturday. #1 Ohlone at home Wednesday vs. #19 Chabot at 5:30pm
January 26, 2010 - The Ohlone Renegades, ranked #1 in the state for the second time this season in today’s poll, face rival Chabot at 5:30pm in Epler Gymnasium on January 27, 2010. The Renegades are currently 16-3 overall and 5-0 in conference. This is the final game of the first half of league play. Chabot is 14-5 overall and 3-2 in league play. Tickets are $5 at the door general admission, and kids under 12 are free.
#2 Ohlone College wins again on the road, beating Las Positas College, 76-46
January 23, 2010 - The second ranked Renegades, paced by sophomore Scott Clark’s 17 points and 6 rebounds, upended the Hawks on the road. Demetris Love added 12 points and Lavon Gray chipped in 13, while point guards Quaran Johnson and Or Steiner had 6 assists each. Ohlone shot 51% from the field, and held LPC to just 14 points in the last 15 minutes of play. Nick Marshall led Las Positas with 15 points.
#2 Ohlone College Gets OT Road Win Over #3 San Francisco, 67-66
January 21, 2010 - 6’4 Sophomore guard Scott Clark swished 2 free throws with 2.8 seconds left in overtime to lead the ’Gades to a pivotal win on the road. January 20, 2010, Tri-City Voice - Ohlone College men's basketball team, ranked fourth in Northern California, lived up to their rating with two wins last week. Renegades Move to #2 in State Poll; Face #3 CCSF on the Road Wednesday
January 19, 2010 - The Ohlone Renegades (14-3, 3-0 in Coast Conference play) moved up two spots in this week’s Community College Coaches Poll, going from #4 to #2 and flip flopping spots with City College of San Francisco (17-2, 2-1) as the two top teams in Northern California. Renegades Use Flawless 1st Half to Propel Win over Skyline College, 66 to 41.
January 17, 2010 - One turnover, 54 % from the field, 46% from the thre-point line, and only 13 points for the Trojans in the opening 20 minutes propelled the Renegades to a victory at home. Reggie Jones led the offensive attack with 13 points, and 11 players found their way into the scorebook. With 22 assists on the 25 made field goals, and a season low 4 turnovers, Ohlone improves to 3-0 on the season in league play and 14-3 overall. Coupled with CCSF’s loss at Foothill, Ohlone currently maintains sole possession of first place early in the season.
