Former Renegade Mychal Green Signs Pro Contract

Former Ohlone College Men’s Basketball player Mychal Green signed a contract with the Utah Eagles of the Continental Basketball Association. The 6’4, 208 lb guard played for the Renegades from 2002–2004. He was named to the All-State team both years, and earned conference MVP honors as a sophomore after averaging 26 ppg in league play. He played at Ohio University his junior and senior years, leading the Bobcats to the NCAA tournament as a junior. Ohio lost to Florida in the first round, a game in which Mychal scored 26 points. He received his degree from Ohio U. in Business this past spring.

After graduation, Mychal had pre-draft tryouts with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers. He turned down several offers to go overseas in order to stay in the states and pursue his goal of playing in the NBA. Check out the Utah Eagles website.
