Sponsorship and Marketing Opportunities - Ohlone Renegades Men's Basketball
The Ohlone College Men’s Basketball Program invites you and/or your business, company, or corporation to become an important part of our team! We have several unique opportunities to market your company while helping our program maintain it’s foothold as one of the Bay Area’s premier junior college teams! As you will see, your company will get phenomenal exposure to both the Ohlone campus community and the Fremont community as a whole. We would like your company to be among the first in this ambitious fundraising program.
How It Works
Your money will be well spent! Each purchase will include a unique signage opportunity and a direct link to your company website from our basketball webpage. Signage will be seen by community members attending all athletic events, community forums, concerts, high school events such as college night, PE courses, sports camps and graduation. 1,000’s of people pass through our gym yearly. Best of all, your donations are tax deductible!
Where Your Money Goes
Our yearly operating budget is roughly $25,000. We get an annual allotment of approximately $12,000 from the school. Our equipment costs alone are $500 per athlete. The remainder of the money raised goes towards team travel, team meals, equipment, exposure event costs & officials. State budget woes make fundraising a key component to our survival!
Our Biggest Needs
- Locker room upgrade: DVD/VCR player, TV, Stereo, carpeting
- Video editing upgrade for recruiting and placement of players: Macbook, DVD/VCR combos and/or DVD players for editing, blank DVD’s
- Money for equipment purchases (shoes, sweats, bags, etc.)
- Money/Trade for travel expenses (pre and post game meals, lodging)
- Money/Trade for team building events (ropes course, mini golf, paint ball, bowling, etc.)
Championship Marketing Opportunities
These championship marketing options are available to help support Ohlone College Men’s Basketball!
- Gym Signage: $500 each
- 3’ x 5’ banner to be hung in Epler Gymnasium for a period of 1 year. $500 per banner, with your company logo. We will hang an existing banner or have one made for you. Banners also available for a comparable trade out service. Includes link from our website to yours!
- Trade Outs: $500
- Trade outs are the life blood of our program’s success. In particular, any trade that allows us to hold team building functions, eat team meals or purchase equipment for our team. All trades get signage space in the gym and a link from our website to yours!
- T-shirt Sponsor: $600 for 120 t-shirts
- Each year we get our guys several t-shirts to wear on game days, both home and away, and at special events. Add your company name and logo on the back of the t-shirts (full back). $600 buys us 120 t-shirts and gets you great regional advertising (we play all over the Bay Area). We would also consider a similar arrangement on all of our travel sweats and travel bags (negotiable).
- Season Pass / Discount Card: Free
- Each year we get our guys several t-shirts to wear on game days, both home and away, and at special events. - Gym Entrance Floor Mats: $500 each
- 3’ x 5’ custom logo mat with your company’s name and logo in the gym doorways. Mat will also include words “proud sponsor of Ohlone athletics” at the bottom. $500 per mat, space for 9 in the gym (covers each entry). Everyone entering the facility will have immediate exposure to your company!
