… [T]he team that won their regular season finale, lost in their playoff opener. What some might consider the worst year in Ohlone men's basketball is finally over after the Renegades disappointing 69-56 loss against Reedley College last Friday. Reedley, as some may remember, defeated Ohlone by a point in the 2009 Sweet 16 round in Fremont.
The Renegades 13-point loss is their second largest deficit in the last five years. Ohlone's 14-point loss to eventual state champion Saddleback College in the Elite 8 last year is the worst playoff loss in the John Peterson era.
