Recent Program History

Men's Soccer

  • The 2009 Men's Soccer team placed 5 players in the sophomore showcase.
  • The 2009 team featured goalkeeper of the year, forward of the year, and freshman of the year as well as conference Coach of the year.
  • 2009 posted the best record in the past 5 years with an 11-9-0.

Women's Soccer

  • 3 playoff appearances over the past 6 years.
  • Past players have moved on to the 4-year level at universities such as Sacramento State, CSU Monterey Bay, Hawaii Pacific, CSU East Bay, UCLA, UC Davis, UC Irvine, and San Francisco State.
  • There have been a total of 25 All-Conference selections, 2 Conference MVP’s, and 3 All Nor-Cal selections.

Dear Prospective Sponsor,

The Ohlone College Men’s and Women’s Soccer Program would like to invite you and/or your business, company, or corporation to become an important part of our team.

We have several unique opportunities to market your company while helping our program maintain its foothold as one of the Bay Area’s premier community college programs. As you will see, your company will get phenomenal exposure to both the Ohlone campus community and the Fremont community as a whole. Also, a portion of your donation is tax deductable.

We would like your company to be among the first in this ambitious fundraising program.

How It Works

Your money will be well spent. Benefits for each level are highlighted below.

  • Goal - $1,000: Full color 8’x4’ banner placed on the soccer field fence and full logo recognition on the website with a direct link to your business.
  • Penalty Kick - $500: Two color 5’x3’ banner placed on the soccer field fence and full logo (B/W) on the website with a direct link to your business.
  • Free Kick - $250: Business name recognition with direct web link from our website.
  • Kick off Support - $50: Name recognition on the website.

All banners will be seen by community members attending athletic events, community events held on the field, PE courses, and sports camps. This is an annual program that will require a renewal to continue for subsequent years.

Ohlone College reserves the right to approve all banners and inscriptions.

Where Your Money Goes

Our annual operating budget is roughly $25,000. We are typically allocated less than half of that from the school district which means we rely on contributions to make up the difference. The remainder of the money raised goes towards team travel, team meals, equipment, exposure event costs, and officials. State budget woes make fundraising a key component to our survival!
