July 12, 2011, Tri-City Voice - Ohlone Youth Sport Softball Camp is committed to providing a safe, fun and skill focused experience for kids between the ages of 6 and 16. Varady signs to play for San Jose State
July 8, 2011, Tri-City Voice - Jessica Varady, a 5'4" star sophomore softball pitcher at Ohlone College this past spring has decided to take her skills as a student-athlete down the road and play for Division I San Jose State University where she received a full softball scholarship. Ohlone downed in Super Regional
May 17, 2011, Tri-City Voice - Ohlone College, under head coach Donna Runyon, with a record of 31-7-1, entered the California Community College (CCCAA) Nor Cal Super Regional softball playoffs as the No. 3 seed. Read more Ohlone downed in Super Regional.

Renegades move on in softball playoffs
May 10, 2011, Tri-City Voice - Ohlone Renegades hosted a first round match in the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Nor Cal regional last weekend May 7-8. Renegades, under the tutelage of head coach Donna Runyon, entered the tournament as the No. 3 seed in the 16-team regional. Ohlone College Softball Coach hits 800th Coaching Win
May 6, 2011, press release - Donna Runyon, Ohlone College women’s softball coach, landed her 800th career win on Thursday, April 14. The Ohlone Renegades defeated their Coast Conference North rival Chabot College Gladiators by 9-1 giving a much deserved win to their beloved coach. Ohlone earns ninth straight CCN title
May 3, 2011, Tri-City Voice - After getting career win 800 and capturing her ninth consecutive Coast Conference North (CCN) title, Ohlone College Renegades' head softball coach Donna Runyon finds her team sitting as the Nor Cal Regional No. 3 seed in the upcoming 2011 California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) state championship tournament. April 26, 2011, Tri-City Voice - With time running out on the regular season, both the Chabot College Lady Gladiators and Ohlone College Lady Renegades softball teams had a full slate of games a week ago. Ohlone -- vying for its ninth consecutive Coast Conference North regular season title -- and Chabot still had work to do in order to get bids into the California Community College Athletic Association postseason tournament. April 19, 2011, Tri-City Voice - Ohlone College Renegades softball head coach Donna Runyon won her 800th game as a Junior College softball coach last Thursday, April 14, when her club went on the road and defeated Coast Conference North rival Chabot College Gladiators, 9-1. Softball team beats up Mission, cruises to win
April 14, 2011, Ohlone College Monitor - Powered by an explosive third inning in which they scored five runs, the Ohlone College softball team defeated Mission College, 8-1, on Tuesday, April 12th in Fremont. Read more Softball team beats up Mission, cruises to win (PDF).
Walk offs beat Ohlone again
April 12, 2011, Tri-City Voice - Ohlone College Renegades softball team lost an extra-inning game against Coast Conference North co-leader College of San Mateo on Saturday, April 2, on a leadoff homerun in the bottom of the eighth inning. Last Tuesday, April 5, the same thing happened when San Jose City College hit a homerun in the bottom of the seventh inning of a tie game to beat the Renegades, 3-2. Renegades softball falls to second place
April 5, 2011, Tri-City Voice - Ohlone Renegades softball team will probably have to win their remaining regular season games (7) to get at least a share of the Coast Conference North (CCN) softball title for 2011. Coach Donna Runyon charges are trying to win the title for the ninth straight year. Jessica Varaday is Tri-City Voice Athlete of the Month
April 1, 2011, Tri-City Voice - Jessica Varady, a sophomore softball player at Ohlone College, has been named the Tri-City Voice Female Athlete of the Month for April, 2011. Ohlone to host softball clinic
January 28, 2011, Tri-City Voice - With softball season right around the corner, Ohlone College is hosting its Third Annual Coaches Clinic on Saturday, Feb. 5, from 9 a.m. to noon. Donna Runyon, head coach of the Renegades' softball team, will be leading the clinic by going over various technical skills.
