By Assistant Coach Amanda Richards and Head Coach Jeremy Penaflor, Ohlone College Women's Volleyball.

The team fought hard against Gavilan in their home conference match on October 9th. Putting out their best effort to date, the game looked promising with a 25-21 win over Gavilan in the first set. Unfortunately, Gavilan came back to take the next three sets and win the match. The girls worked hard to earn a team total of 33 kills and 90 digs, having three players in double digits for digs. Taylor Presley led the Renegades with the high of 38 digs and Brittany Creel followed with 16 digs of her own. The girls earned two more wins in their matches against Chabot and Skyline. Against Skyline the team showed just what they're made of on both sides of the net. Key offensive contributions came from Brittany Creel tallying a high of 25 kills, and Shelby Bolduc and Jackie Class both came in second with 12 kills each. Taylor Presley once again led on defense with a high of 38 digs, and Emily Marden followed with 19 digs of her own. Brittany Creel and Jackie class were not too far behind with 18 and 16 to add to the team total. Come support Ohlone volleyball as we take on Foothill College and West Valley on October 23 and 25.
