Lady Renegades' volleyball evened their record at 2-2 with a Friday night, Sept. 25, home win over the West Hills Falcons.

Coach Jeremy Penaflor's squad dominated the first game 25-8 and pulled off a 25-20 win in the second on the strength of Jayme Leftridge's imposing net presence and the service consistency of Stephanie Cao and Rachel Miramontez.

West Hills stayed alive with an inspired performance in Game 3, as Ohlone appeared more tentative and uncertain than they had in the first two games, losing 25-14. But the Lady Renegades reclaimed the winning formula in the fourth game, running off 11 straight points (10 of them on Leftridge's serve) to take a 12-2 lead. They coasted to a 25-11 win and a 3-1 victory in the match.
