Community college hoops recap
March 10, 2010, Tri-City Voice - Coast Conference North women's champions Ohlone had to come from behind for nearly the whole game against City College of San Francisco, but despite its valiant comeback - fighting back from a 16-point, second-half deficit - CCSF won the contest, 74-63.
After Ohlone tied the game in the second half, the Renegades ran out of gas, as the home team Rams went on 12-0 run. Ganeaya Rogers led Ohlone with 24 points; Crystal Mclaughlin scored 16; and Jasmine Rubin had 10 points.
Ohlone Women's Basketball lose 63-74 to CCSF
March 8, 2010 - The Ohlone's Women's Basketball team didn't fare as well as the Men's team in the Coast Conference Championship on Saturday, March 6. They remain the 2010 Coast Conference Northern California Champions but do not move on to this year's State Championship. Congratulations to our Women's Basketball team for an exciting season!
Lady Renegades make it past Contra Costa in first round
March 4, 2010, Monitor - Ganeaya Rogers flipped in the decisive go-ahead layup with 12 seconds remaining as the eighth-seed Ohlone Lady Renegades defeated the ninth-seed Contra Costa Comets 71-67 in last Friday’s first-round playoff game in Fremont. February 25, 2010, Ohlone College Monitor - The Ohlone Lady Renegades celebrated the careers of four sophomores Wednesday night with a win, a conference title, and a perfect season.
