Women's Basketball: Thomas signs NLI with San Jose State
May 1, 2012, Tri-City Voice - April 11th marked the opening day for prospective four-year college athlete's to sign a National Letter of Intent (NLI), a binding agreement between an athlete and the institution where the athlete intends to enroll; the institution intends to provide athletic financial aid (athletic scholarships). Ohlone College's 2012 Northern California Player of the Year, Chereese Thomas, signed her NLI with San Jose State on opening day in Epler Gymnasium. Hard work, toughness pay off for Ohlone's Chereese Thomas
April 24, 2012, Inside Bay Area - Chereese Thomas had a moment she truly deserved at Ohlone College. After two brilliant seasons as a point guard with the Renegades, the former Dublin High star was honored at a signing ceremony on April 11 when she inked with San Jose State. 2011-2012 Renegades Receive Honors
April 20, 2012 - The 2011-2012 season marks one of the best seasons the Ohlone Women's Basketball team has ever had. Finishing with an overall record of 24-6, the #4 seed in the Northern California, a 12-0 conference record which gave them their 3rd undefeated conference championship in 4 years. Chereese Thomas signs her National Letter of Intent
April 13, 2012 - …Ohlone College's 2012 Northern California Player of the Year Chereese Thomas signed her NLI with San Jose State April 11th in Epler Gymnasium. "This is the epitome of what our goal is with our women's basketball program here. We want our student athlete's to reach their highest potential level, we want them to achieve their goals and that happened today."
