The community college level is very competitive and is a great environment for female athletes to develop both on and off the court so they are able to transfer to a four-year ready to succeed." –Julia Allender

After high school Julia headed to San Jose City College where she received honors as the starting shooting guard for the Jags both years she was there. She was named All-Conference both her freshman and sophomore year, was an All-State honorable mention athlete and recognized as one of the top shooters in the State of California.
From San Jose City she transferred to a four-year Division 1 program where again her extraordinary skill on the court won her honors as a player and a teammate.
