March 1, 2011, Tri-City Voice - As the No. 6 seed, Ohlone College Renegades women's basketball team, under head coach Julia Allender, hosted No. 11 seed Butte College of Oroville in the California Community College Athletic Association north regional second round tournament on Saturday, Feb. 26. Lady Renegades move onto postseason
February 22, 2011, Tri-City Voice - Ohlone College Lady Renegades basketball finished the regular season last week with two Coast Conference South wins defeating Hartnell College of Salinas on the road, 71-48, before returning home to beat San Jose City College, 59-39. February 2, 2011 - If you didn’t know any better, you might assume a team that loses two of the best junior college players in the state of California would expect to experience a drop-off. Collegiate athletic rundown: Women's Basketball
February 1, 2011, Tri-City Voice - … Ohlone’s women’s team looks determined to successfully defend their Coast Conference South (CCS) title. Following victories over Hartnell College (by a score of 65-55 on January 21) and San Jose City College (a 51-20 laugher on January 26), Coach Julia Allender’s club is 6-0 in conference play. De Anza, at 6-1, is nipping at the Renegades’ heels. Ohlone has been led offensively this season by Alexous Robinson, with 13.9 ppg. …

On February 5 at 5:00pm your Ohlone College Renegades Women's Basketball team, who is currently 7-0 in conference and defending 2 undefeated conference championships, will be taking on the De Anza Dons in Epler Gymnasium.
The women are currently ranked 5th in the North and 17th in the state with an overall record of 17-5. The Renegades are the only team to have defeated De Anza in Conference play and with a win Saturday will have won the Coast Conference-South Division for the 3rd year in a row. Your support is needed this Saturday!!! The Men's game vs. Las Positas is at 3:00pm, followed by the Women's game at 5:00pm.

January 10, 2011, Inside Bay Area - Anyone familiar with the Dublin High girls basketball program won't be surprised by the impression two ex-Gaels are making at Ohlone College. Renegades freshmen Alexous Robinson, a forward, and Chereese Thomas, a point guard, are impact players on one of the Bay Area's hottest teams. January 7, 2011, Tri-City Voice - … Coach Julia Allender has her Ohlone College women's team rounding into midseason form following the Renegades' win in the Mike Gervasoni Memorial Classic in Cupertino. Ohlone improved to 7-4 in nonconference play with three close wins: 57-53 over Merced; 58-54 over Solano; and a 64-63 squeaker over San Francisco City College. …

December 24, 2010, Tri-City Voice - … Ohlone's women did their school proud with a win in the CSM tournament in San Mateo. Coach Julia Allender's squad dispatched Reedley in the first round, Butte College in the semifinals, and finished with a 72-59 thumping of Santa Monica on Dec. 19 to take home the title. …

December 14, 2010, Tri-City Voice - … Ohlone's Lady Renegades hoops team (3-4 in nonconference play) are also looking to defend their Coast Conference South division title, and following a 57-51 loss to San Joaquin Delta in the Caren Franci Tournament in Santa Rosa, they played like champions in the consolation final, stomping Contra Costa 53-32. …

Local community college update
November 15, 2010, Tri-City Voice: Sports - Ohlone’s Lady Renegades went to Sierra College for the Sierra Summit tourney over the weekend. After losing to Cerritos, 66-56, the Renegades bounced back with a 52-35 win over Shasta in the losers’ bracket to send them to the Consolation Final against Butte on Sunday, Nov. 14. However, in that match-up, the Lady Renegades were edged out by five, 65-60.
