Ohlone's women's team came through with two wins, edging Skyline 1-0 when, in the 90th minute of the game, Cheyenne Kisthardt beat two Skyline defenders as well as the onrushing goalie before poking the ball into the empty net. The Renegades took the momentum of that exciting win into their first match-up against Chabot College, who were coming off a 4-0 loss to San Francisco City.

Ohlone had their best game of the season, routing the Gladiators 6-1 to improve to 3-2-1 in the division, 5-5-1 overall. Melissa Flores led Ohlone with two goals. Also hitting the net were Ariel Brown, Kisthardt, Reanna Williams and Ella Popalzai.

"We took control form the opening whistle and played very nicely, combining passes and keeping possession, opening up passing lanes," said Ohlone coach Larry Heslin.
