Joe Martinez, Ohlone College Water Polo Assistant Coach

Joe Martinez, who has served as both the Men's and Women's Assistant Water Polo Coach for Ohlone College, has suddenly passed away on Monday, April 11, 2011, at the tender age of 28. My condolences go out to his family and friends during this very difficult time.

Joe was also the varsity swimming coach at Mission San Jose High and was the Head Coach of Renegades Water Polo, our year round club team. He has literally coached thousands of young athletes in water polo and swimming over the last decade.

His positive personality and infectious smile will truly be missed. This is a major blow to the aquatics arena within our community. He was a soldier for good. Please say a prayer for Joe and his family.
