"It's a love story, a hermit's story and a refashioning of age-old wolf-based folklore like "Little Red Cap." It's also a small masterpiece. You look up from the thing dazed, slightly changed." (full review)

This event is open to Ohlone College students and employees.
This is Part One of our book club's reading of the 3 finalists in the 2012 Pulitzer for Fiction deliberations. We will be reading and discussing Train Dreams at the end of this semester, discussing Swamplandia, by Karen Russell at the beginning of Spring semester, and discussing The Pale King, by David Foster Wallace and deciding on a winner at the end of Spring semester.
