Career Services maintains positive relationships with employers. Please refer to our recruitment guidelines to determine if your company is eligible to recruit on the Ohlone College campus.

Recruitment Guidelines

To be eligible to advertise on campus to recruit students for employment, employers must:

1. Comply with laws relating to labor and employment, including but not limited to equal employment opportunity, employment eligibility requirements, and data privacy.
2. Offer jobs that pay a base salary equal to or greater than a minimum wage in compliance with city/county/state/federal labor laws and ordinances.
3. Not recruit for jobs that offer a commission-only salary.
4. Not require an up front or periodic payment.
5. Not require prospective employees to purchase products or services contingent upon their employment with that company.
6. Not be involved in a "pyramid" or multi-level type networking structure requiring or encouraging the recruitment of other members, sub-distributors or sub-agents to sell products or services.

The Ohlone College Career Services reserves the right to change, add or make revision to these guidelines.

Instructions for Posting a Job

Online posting

MonsterCollege - To list your job or internship online, please contact MonsterCollege (college.monster.com) or call (800) 999-TRAK ((800) 999-8725). When posting jobs on MonsterCollege, please indicate that you have been referred by Ohlone College.

Positions advertised through MonsterCollege are available for student viewing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Posting in Career Services

To post your position in Career Services, please download the Job Order Form (PDF) and fax your listing to (510) 659-7344 or email the position to careerservices@ohlone.edu. Your listing will be posted in our job binders for a period of 30 days.

Please notify Career Services regarding the following:

1. Extending the posting period
2. When the position is filled within 30 days, the Center will remove your listing
