The Smith Center at Ohlone College will present two shows through the end of the August.
StarStruck Theatre's "All Shook Up," a musical comedy featuring the hits of Elvis Presley, will be shown today (Aug. 16) and tomorrow at 8 p.m. This event is in the Smith Center's Outdoor Amphitheatre. To purchase tickets through StarStruck Theatre, visit starstrucktheatre.org or on the day of the performance purchase tickets at the Smith Center Box office.
The Smith Center will also present a screening of the 1972 film "What's Up Doc?" on Aug. 23 at 8:30 p.m.
Filmed in San Fran-cisco, this screwball comedy features Barbra Streisand as the beguilingly kooky girl that Ryan O'Neal can't seem to resist, no matter how hard he tries. Madness and mayhem swirl around them as the contents of four identical suitcases keep switching places.
Tickets are $7 for general admission. Event parking is $2. The movie will be held at the Smith Center's Outdoor Amphitheater at 43600 Mission Blvd. Attendees may want to bring a jacket and a blanket in case it gets chilly during the performance.
