Fremont, CA—Bill McMillin, Ohlone Community College District trustee, has been elected to serve on the California Community College Trustees (CCCT) Board.
The California Community College Trustees (CCCT) and the Chief Executive Officers of the California Community Colleges (CEOCCC) are the two major organizations that make up the Community College League of California, sharing a common mission, staff, and fiscal resources.
“The CCCT board is composed of local trustees, recognized statewide for their outstanding leadership and dedication to serving students," said League President and Chief Executive Officer Scott Lay. "We are pleased Bill is joining the board."
The CCCT board meets five times each year to take action on education policy issues before the state Board of Governors and the Legislature. The board also provides policy direction to staff concerning statewide education policy, research initiatives, publications, workshops, and conferences.
