For Immediate Release:
Nature Will Cool & Heat New College in Bay Area
Fremont, CA—Ohlone Community College is currently constructing a new campus in the City of Newark. This week the contractor is installing Geothermal Heating and Cooling Coils on the site located at 39399 Cherry Street in Newark.
A press conference will be held on Thursday, July 27 at 10:00 a.m. on the construction site for viewing and demonstration of the geo thermal installation and additional briefings on the new campus, its state of the art technology and specialized curriculum.
The Ohlone College Campus at Newark is the first college or university campus to be constructed under the national LEED Standards (Gold level) for environmental sustainability, including energy efficiency and co-generation through roof mounted solar cells. The geo-thermal installation is a proven technology but not common in public institutions in the Bay Area.
A press release with additional information will be issued at the press conference.
