Conference for Early Childhood Educators
Fremont, CA—A conference for early childhood educators and parents is being held at the Ohlone College/Kidango Child Development Center Saturday, September 30, 2006. The conference “Making A Difference—Children, Families, Educators” targets an audience of educators, parents and students, covering topics such as working with children with challenging behaviors, curriculum planning, how to open your own school, child health, and family childcare.
The conference has a registration fee of $20.00, which includes breakfast and lunch. The conference is an all day event and begins at 8:00AM. Scheduled events for the day include keynote speaker: Cheryl Jackson-Williams, workshops, a raffle, and other activities. Students who wish to attend the conference may receive ½ unit of Ohlone College credit. To receive credit students must attend a mandatory meeting from 4:30PM to 5:00PM at the end of the conference.
