Sammy Obeid also went on to take the Gold for Speech To Entertain and was ranked first in the nation while Emily Burkett took a silver for Extemporaneous Speaking.
The team will be present at the May 9th Board of Trustees meeting in recognition of their success. Members of the team will be presenting a selection of their prize-winning speeches at Ohlone’s annual Speech Night on May 4th including Obeid’s Speech to Entertain and Burkett’s Persuasion pieces.
