For Immediate Release:

“A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”

Fremont, CA—"Comedy Tonight!" Stephen Sondheim’s romantic farce is light, fast-paced, irreverent and a bit racy. One of the funniest Broadway musicals ever, it’s the perfect diversion after a hot summer day. Presented under the stars at the Ohlone College Amphitheatre, “Forum” takes comedy back to its roots combining social satire with farce and of course, plenty of mistaken identity, ridiculous puns, and plain ol’ slapstick. Come early for a pre-show dinner al fresco and watch the sun set over the bay before the fun begins. Dinner is at 7pm. Please call in advance for dinner reservations.

Summerfest has been a musical tradition of over 30 years in the Tri-City area. Featuring veterans of musical theatre from around the Bay Area, Summerfest provides a richly varied range of contemporary to classical Broadway musicals.
